Award for GERICS PhD student Oakley Wagner

GERICS PhD student Oakley Wagner was honored as one of the best graduates of the academic year 2023/2024 in the field of Civil and Environmental Engineering at TU Dresden.

According to the suggestions of the faculties and scientific institutions, the best 84 graduates of TU Dresden were honored for their outstanding achievements. The award ceremony took place on 6 December 2024 in the presence of the Rector and the Vice Rector Education. Oakley studied for a Master's degree in Hydro Science and Engineering and specialised in the field of flood risk management.

As a PhD student at GERICS, Oakley Wagner is investigating retrospective and future hydrometeorological extreme events using an integrated modeling approach in the HICSS project HYDROLINE.
